Description:
SkunkWorks is an incarcerated-led innovation lab inside San Quentin, and yes-you read that right.
We bring together incarcerated changemakers and outside professionals to build bold, system-shifting projects: from collaborative art with internationally acclaimed muralists to gaming events that dismantle racial divides, to data-driven justice reform backed by leading universities.
Every week, we host foundations, artists, policymakers, and global thought leaders inside the prison walls-and we need your help to make it happen.
The Role:
You’ll serve as a volunteer sponsor-escorting our guests through the prison and supporting logistics during our weekly programs. Think of it as being a trusted insider who helps extraordinary conversations unfold.
No prep or presentation needed. Just your presence, reliability, and curiosity.
When:
Choose one:
Fridays, 3:00-5:00 PM
Saturdays, 1:30-5:00 PM
(One day per week, consistent availability preferred)

- Executive coaches who’ve trained leadership at Google, Adobe, Exxon, and Pepsi

- Foundation representatives and advocates from across the country
