The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is a volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis while improving the lives of those affected by these diseases.

The Greater Los Angeles/Orange County Chapter is looking for volunteers to support Los Angeles Take Steps on Sunday, June 8 at Tongva Park in Santa Monica.

Join the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s largest, most impactful fundraising event Take Steps as we come together to raise funds to accelerate research, advance treatments, and provide programs and support to improve the quality of life for those living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

To cure and prevent Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis through research, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases through education and support.

Description

The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation is committed to eradicating two life-changing and potentially life-threatening chronic digestive diseases. Collectively known as inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), these illnesses affect over 1.6 million Americans, including more than 125,000 people in the 7 counties our chapter serves. Throughout the year the Foundation hosts special events to fulfill its mission to find cures by funding cutting-edge biomedical research, and to provide support support groups, patient and professional educational programs, and a summer camp for our children with IBD.
