The Volunteer Grant Database Manager will help organize and maintain a centralized grant tracking system for ANAM’s U.S. and Liberia-based programs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, is detail-oriented, and wants to make a meaningful contribution to an arts and education nonprofit.

1. Organizing and Managing Grant Data

* Maintain a centralized grant database: Track upcoming grant deadlines, application statuses, funder contact information, past applications, and outcomes.

* Update the grant calendar regularly to reflect submission and reporting deadlines.

* Create and maintain a grant log detailing which funders have been approached, when, and the results.

2. Supporting Grant Applications

* Pull relevant program data and statistics from the ANAM database to include in proposals (e.g., number of students served, attendance, demographics).

* Compile success stories and impact summaries that can be used in the "Need" or "Impact" sections of grants.

* Ensure data integrity and accuracy so grant writers and development staff have reliable information for reports and proposals.

3. Grant Prospecting Support

* Use the database to track new potential funding opportunities shared by the Executive Director or external advisors.

* Assist in researching funders, recording findings, and organizing notes in the database.

* Help match ANAM’s program focus with potential funders’ interests using searchable tags or categories in the database system.

4. Reporting & Compliance Support

* Track grant reporting requirements and assist in collecting data needed for narrative and financial reports.

* Work with the finance team (if applicable) to ensure that budget-related data for grants is stored and accessible.

* Organize and archive submitted proposals, award letters, and reports for future reference.

5. Communication & Collaboration

* Coordinate internally with the Executive Director, Program Team, and Development Team to share and update funding data.

* Assist in scheduling meetings or follow-ups with potential funders or grantors.

* Ensure all team members involved in fundraising have access to updated grant data.

About Agape National Academy of Music (ANAM)

Location:

2190 Northlake Pkwy, Tucker, GA 30084, US

Mission Statement

The mission of ANAM is to transform and enrich lives and communities by offering high-quality, free, and low-cost instruction in music to children and youth, providing leadership and life skills, and performance opportunities that contribute to the cultural life of Liberian communities.

Description

ANAM is the only fully operational music school in Liberia-a small country in West Africa. Since 2008, ANAM has provided free and low-cost music and arts instruction to underserved children and youth. The academy offers both group and individual lessons, along with training in music education, ear training, worship leadership, and instrumental performance. Many students have gone on to lead worship and music ministries in churches across Liberia.

Liberia has faced immense challenges in recent decades, including two civil wars, a devastating Ebola outbreak, and the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. These crises severely disrupted education for an entire generation. Though rebuilding is underway, the process is slow and requires long-term commitment.

ANAM is part of this recovery effort-empowering children and young adults with music education, creative expression, and leadership opportunities. To date, the academy has served over 600 students, many of whom are now musicians and leaders in their communities.

In 2025, ANAM is expanding its mission to the United States by launching community-based programs in Georgia. Partnering with schools, churches, and local organizations, ANAM Georgia will bring accessible music education to underserved children. This expansion builds on ANAM’s proven model, helping more young people discover their potential through the power of music-both locally and globally.
