Are you passionate about empowering youth and making a difference in your community? Join the American Red Cross as a Youth Engagement Team Member and help shape the leaders of tomorrow!
What You'll Do:
Work hand-in-hand with our Volunteer Services team to support, mentor, and engage youth volunteers across your region. You’ll play a key role in bringing the Red Cross mission to life by focusing on these four areas:
Volunteerism - Help youth get involved in meaningful roles
Blood Donations - Promote lifesaving opportunities
Fundraising - Encourage creative campaigns
Learning - Share knowledge, host workshops, and more
Key Responsibilities:
Lead engaging committee meetings with youth leaders
Approve volunteer hours in Volunteer Connection
Represent or coordinate presence at events and activities
Share Red Cross policies and upcoming opportunities
Identify and delegate youth volunteer roles
Offer encouragement, mentorship, and year-round recognition
Time Commitment:
3-5 hours per week
Combination of remote and on-site work
Weekend/evening availability preferred to align with youth schedules
Skills & Requirements:
Strong communication and leadership skills
Passion for youth development and community service
Comfort with remote collaboration tools
Must be 18+ and complete standard Red Cross onboarding
