We are looking for a motivated and creative Fundraising Volunteer to support our global fundraising efforts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about conservation and women’s rights, with an interest in nonprofit development, donor engagement, and campaign strategy. You'll help us raise vital funds to expand our programs, protect endangered species, and empower more women on the frontlines of conservation in the Global South.
Key Responsibilities:
Research potential funding sources including grants, foundations, and corporate sponsors
Assist in developing and writing grant applications and fundraising proposals
Support donor outreach and stewardship activities
Help plan and promote online fundraising campaigns (e.g. Giving Tuesday, crowdfunding)
Contribute ideas and content for donor communications and fundraising materials
Track progress and help report on fundraising outcomes
Qualifications:
Passion for environmental conservation and women’s empowerment
Strong research and writing skills
Experience or interest in fundraising, nonprofit development, or grant writing
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
Native in English; Spanish is a plus
Familiarity with platforms like Kickstarter, GoFundMe, or GlobalGiving is helpful

Women for Conservation partners with women around the globe to protect endangered wildlife and their habitats. Our organization empowers women in rural communities with access to conservation education, sustainable economic opportunities, and reproductive healthcare. We work in the most biodiverse and ecologically vulnerable areas in the tropics and where biodiversity needs urgent help, training the next generation of environmental stewards to protect critically threatened species.
