Overview

All Our Boys Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educate, empower, and ignite drive in BIPOC young men.. We seek a committed and detail-oriented Board Treasurer to oversee the financial health of our organization and ensure transparency and accountability in financial matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight of the organization’s financial health, ensuring compliance with nonprofit financial regulations.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board to develop and monitor the annual budget.
• Provide regular financial reports and updates to the Board, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analysis.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns, audits, and compliance with all financial policies and regulations.
• Assist with fundraising efforts, grant tracking, and financial planning to support organizational growth.
• Oversee bookkeeping and accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Serve as the primary liaison with accountants, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Guide the Board on financial best practices, risk management, and financial sustainability strategies.
• Review and approve financial transactions and expenditures as necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting, or a related field (CPA or nonprofit financial experience preferred).
• Familiarity with nonprofit financial management, budgeting, and compliance.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Commitment to the mission and values of All Our Boys Inc.

Time Commitment

No more than 10-15 hours monthly, including one hour board meetings.

This is an unpaid, volunteer board position with the opportunity to significantly impact the financial stability and success of All Our Boys Inc.
