- You will be responsible to provide a meal and bring a group of 3-10 people.
- Expect to provide approximately 40-50 servings per meal. Watch for an email roughly a week before your meal with updated client numbers and any client food allergies.
- Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. An adult must accompany any volunteers under 18.
- You can prepare the meal in our kitchen or at home, but we have specific guidelines for making food at home.
- You are responsible for cleaning the kitchen area, including washing and storing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down the countertops/cookware.
- No photos or videos of our clients are permitted. You may take pictures of your group in the kitchen (and we're happy to help take pictures for you!), but please respect the privacy of our clients while you are in their space.
Whether you're an experienced cook, enjoy working in a team, or simply want to give back to the community, this opportunity is a chance to provide essential support to youth facing challenging circumstances. All are welcome to join in this effort to create a positive and uplifting experience for everyone involved.

REQUIREMENTS
- This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
- Must be at least 16
- Two hours, plus meal planning beforehand
- You, and the group you bring, will be responsible to bring a meal or cook a meal using the ingredients we have at the shelter.
