At Choice Hospice we have incredible volunteers. A simple visit each week to a patient or patients, one hour time frame, but makes a world of difference.

We have wonderful patients who could use a kind word, a visit, someone to smile and hold their hand. Not difficult at all. Would you like to be part of a team that does things purposefully to make a differenc ein peoples lives?

Choice Hospice has a wonderful medical and office team that you will volunteer alongside with. ONe hour each week will bring comfort and compassion to some of our patients.

Description

Hospice is a patient-centered approach to improve the quality of life and provide compassionate support for patients and families. Hospice care is focused on maintaining dignity and providing comfort, including pain and symptom management at the end of life when a cure is no longer possible. Also called palliative care, hospice involves the aggressive treatment of physical and emotional pain and symptoms. Hospice affirms life, improves comfort, and does not hasten or postpone death.
