About She en Peers
She en Peers is a community of peers walking in solidarity with women, Indigenous Peoples, and frontline communities who carry the weight of climate injustice. We honor their wisdom, stories, solutions, and leadership as we work together toward justice and healing for all our relations.
Opportunity Overview
We are seeking passionate volunteer facilitators to lead online Learning Circles in English and Swahili. As a Virtual Facilitator, you will guide peer learners through structured yet flexible discussions, ensuring an engaging and inclusive virtual learning space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate online Learning Circles via Zoom or other virtual platforms.
- Foster a supportive and interactive environment for peer learners.
- Use provided materials (or co-create content) to guide discussions.
- Encourage participation, reflection, and collaborative learning.
- Commit to a set schedule.
Requirements:
- Strong facilitation and active listening skills.
- Reliable internet access and comfort with virtual platforms.
- Passion for peer-led learning and community empowerment.
- Interest or experience in themes of women’s rights, Indigenous peoples’ rights, and climate justice is highly valued.
- Prior experience in facilitation, mentoring, or community engagement is a plus but not mandatory.

By volunteering, you wil l be instrumental in advancing women’s rights, Indigenous peoples’ rights, and climate justice alongside peers globally and in Kenya. Your facilitation will help build a stronger, more informed community that drives social change through collective learning and action.
