Network Theory Applied Research Institute's Node.Nexus Blog

The Network Theory Applied Research Institute (NTARI) is seeking dedicated volunteers to contribute to our citizen research journal, Node.Nexus. We are launching a special research initiative focused on documenting and analyzing the concepts, impact, and implications of "The Network State" as proposed by Balaji Srinivasan.

Project Overview

"The Network State" represents an innovative framework for reimagining governance, community, and sovereignty in the digital age. This research initiative aims to explore Srinivasan's vision of cloud communities that organize online but materialize physically, establishing new models of social organization. Your contributions will help analyze and document this emerging concept and its potential implications for future societies.

Volunteer Responsibilities

As a volunteer researcher, you will:

  • Review Balaji Srinivasan's writings, talks, and publications related to The Network State
  • Document the development of these concepts and their intellectual foundations
  • Analyze how these ideas intersect with blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, digital governance, and sovereignty
  • Synthesize findings into well-structured articles for the Node.Nexus blog
  • Collaborate with other citizen researchers to build a comprehensive knowledge base
Qualifications

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with:

  • Interest in emerging governance models, digital societies, blockchain technology, and future studies
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Clear writing ability and attention to detail
  • Academic background in political science, technology studies, economics, or related fields (beneficial but not required)
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
Time Commitment

Volunteers can contribute according to their availability. All participation hours can be formally logged through our time-tracking system at www.ntari.org/time for your records.

Contribution Formats

Contributors may submit their research in multiple formats:

  • Written articles
  • Video presentations
  • Audio recordings
How to Apply
