We have built a health assessment chatbot that understands the patient's symptoms and connects them with the right Doctor based on their symptoms, demographics, cultural fit, gender preferences and insurance fit (not all Doctors accept all insurances). We are looking to add AI agentic capabilities by implementing this paper to our chatbot - https://mdagents2024.github. io/ We are also looking to add a setting page on our chatbot where the user enters their API's of different LLMs so that we can offer the solution for free.

You will be working on building AI Chatbots that have the following capabilities:

• Multimodal
• Multilingual
• Retrieval Augmented Generation
• Agentic

You will be using Vercel AI SDK to build the AI Chatbots with the above capabilities - https://sdk.vercel.ai/

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js, Express.js, and React.js (or Vue.js/Angular).
• Design, develop, and manage databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Work with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack JavaScript Developer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, Node.js, Express.js, and a frontend framework (React.js/Vue.js/Angular).
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Firebase, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
