Position Title: Volunteer Fundraising and Public Relations Coordinator
Primary Responsibilities:
Fundraising:
Identify and pursue fundraising opportunities in California, specifically targeting the < $50,000 tax segment.
Engage with potential donors through direct outreach, events, or campaigns.
Research and apply for relevant grants or donation opportunities.
Maintain relationships with current donors and supporters.
Public Relations:
Create and distribute press releases, newsletters, and social media content to promote the nonprofit's mission and activities.
Build relationships with local media outlets and influencers to raise awareness.
Organize public events, both online and in-person, to raise the nonprofit’s profile.
Manage communications and engage the public through various channels (website, social media, etc.).
Requirements:
Proven experience in fundraising or public relations (voluntary or professional).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to the organization’s mission.
Compensation: This is a volunteer position with small stipends or reimbursements for specific expenses (if applicable).

Description
The Hilde B Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence.
