Participate in trail maintenance events sponsored by the Kennesaw Mountain Trail Club. The work often requires manual labor and heavy lifting such as removing berms, digging holes, moving rocks, carrying, and using various tools. Volunteer should expect extensive public contact and be comfortable with leading groups of 10 - 12 volunteers while performing park trail and land maintenance at various locations throughout the park, as well as in various outdoor conditions (cold, hot, humid, rainy, etc.).
Majority of volunteering will take place during monthly Trail Workdays, which is held every second Saturday of each month.
