The Artist Lives Gallery is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and showcasing the creative legacies of individuals who passed away without recognition during their lifetimes, visual artists, musicians, and writers whose talents deserve to be seen and celebrated. Many of these works were left behind by those who died too soon. Our mission offers grieving families a way to honor and share the creative works of their loved ones.

What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Grant Writer to help us pursue funding opportunities that will allow us to expand our impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research relevant grant opportunities for arts, grief support, community healing, and underserved creative voices
• Assist in writing and submitting compelling grant proposals
• Work with our founder to align messaging and impact goals

Requirements:

• Excellent writing and research skills
• Organized and reliable with the ability to manage deadlines
• Experience with grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit work
• Passion for the arts, storytelling, or supporting grieving families

Time Commitment:

• Estimated 5-10 hours/month depending on current opportunities and deadlines
• Flexible schedule - work at your own pace, with occasional check-ins
