Bridge to the Future - Rites of Passage (BTTF-ROP) is celebrating 25 years of helping young people acheive happy and healthy lives. BTTF-ROP is hosting a networking event to recruit future committee and possible board members.

What is is Bridge to the Future - Rites of Passage (BTTF-ROP)

Rites of Passage is a multi-cultural mentoring program for youth, ages 14-18 years old

It celebrates the transformation of these students from childhood to young adulthood.

What is involved with this transformation?

Drawing upon ancient traditions, trusted adults train and expose students to life lessons through experiential learning and workshops

Upon completion of this 7-month program, graduates are presented in formal attire to the community. Students and parents share what they have learned, their aspirations and plans.

What is unique about the Rites of Passage Program?

BTTF-ROP is a non-profit organization (501c3) lead and guided by dedicated volunteers. Several alums and parents of alums serve on the board of directors

The program was founded more than 25 years ago and has impacted more than 350 students since its inception

More than 50% of ROP volunteers have been with the organization since inception.

The brand of the program has garnered the support of several trusted partners including Sonoma County Mental Health, Graton Federated Indians of Rancheria, Redwood Credit Union, and the City of Santa Rosa.
