About Us

Wealthy Habits is a nonprofit dedicated to teaching financial literacy to underserved kids and teens. Through interactive camps and programs, we equip students with essential money management skills in a fun and engaging way.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to transform our pre-recorded footage into short, engaging YouTube videos and social media reels. These videos will help spread financial literacy and make learning about money fun and accessible. Depending on the content type, videos will range from 50 seconds to 5 minutes long.

Responsibilities
  • Edit pre-recorded footage into engaging, high-quality videos for YouTube and social media.
  • Create animations or add visual effects to enhance learning (if necessary).
  • Ensure videos are clear, concise, and visually appealing.
  • Work collaboratively with the Wealthy Habits team to align content with our financial literacy curriculum.
  • Format videos for multiple platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Qualifications
  • Experience with video editing software.
  • Ability to add animations, captions, and effects to improve engagement.
  • Strong storytelling and editing skills.
  • Passion for financial literacy and education.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Time Commitment
  • One-time volunteer role with the potential for future opportunities.

Aspiring entrepreneurs in challenged communities, single heads of families, youths moving into adulthood, all of these individuals may require education about the world of financial management and wealth creation, but lack the resources necessary to pursue that education - we want to help.
