Care for our planet and plant trees to save salmon- in celebration of Earth Day 2025!
Join our team of stewards and Streamkeepers working in partnership with the Tulalip Tribes to restore Quilceda Creek's riparian zone, strengthen the health of the creek and its watershed, and provide critical habitat for salmon! If you participated in AASF's Holiday Trees for Salmon program, this is great event to bring your Holiday tree to, to plant in its forever home beside Quilceda Creek! Saturday April 19th 20259 AM-12PM W. Fork of Quilceda Creek

Tulalip, WA 98271 *A map of the parking location can be provided. Please come prepared and dressed in layers and tree planting attire with closed-toed, water-proof (or resistant) shoes to help keep you both warm and dry. Here is a great (20 min) video we recommend watching prior to any planting restoration event- a helpful resource to provide you with knowledge on proper planting techniques for potted, bare-root and live stakes -

Mission Statement
To teach people to become stewards of their watersheds.
Description
The Adopt A Stream Foundation (AASF) carries out its mission by conducting Streamkeeper Academy programs, producing environmental education materials, and providing local communities with stream and wetland restoration technical assistance. AASF headquarters are located on a 20 acre site in Snohomish County's McCollum Park. This location is also home to the Northwest Stream Center, an environmental learning facility with a nature store, trout stream exhibit and a 1/2 mile long elevated nature trail that winds through and over wetlands, dense forest, and two salmon streams. The Adopt A Stream Foundation always welcomes help from volunteers in several areas, including: fund raising, membership services, administrative duties, staffing for the gate house and nature store, plant yard and grounds maintenance, Streamkeeper Academy teaching assistance, and stream and wetland restoration project assistance.
