The mission of the "I Have A Dream" Foundation - Atlanta is to empower children from under-resourced communities to succeed in school, college, and career by providing academic, social, and emotional support from elementary school through adulthood, along with guaranteed post-secondary tuition assistance.

Description

"I Have A Dream" - Atlanta takes a comprehensive, holistic approach to spark success for the children in our program. We believe a multi-faceted approach is necessary to create equitable access to educational opportunities, and we know it works. "I Have A Dream" provides individualized case management, mentoring networks, social and emotional life skills learning, health and wellness resources, civic engagement opportunities, career readiness, financial literacy, and academic enrichment and support. We offer this comprehensive, wrap-around program to Dreamer Scholars beginning in first grade and continuing "to and through" their post-secondary years, supported with the promise of a post-secondary scholarship provided for each scholar.
