Volunteer with Sprouts Chef Training New York City Gala

About: On May 19, Sprouts Chef Training is hosting our Inaugural NYC Fundraising Gala in partnership with Mission Ceviche Union Square. Through an evening of food, cocktails, and impact stories, we’ll raise awareness about our mission to equip youth to rise from hardship through culinary training & job placement, and secure funding to expand our programming in 2026.

Volunteers: Volunteers work alongside restaurant hosts and the Sprouts team to support the successful execution of the event through set-up, guest check-in, passing appetizers & drinks, bussing, and event breakdown. This is a great opportunity to gain professional experience, while networking with fellow food-lovers, Michelin starred chefs, and community advocates who are passionate about making a difference!

Event Details

• Date: Monday, May 19th
• Time commitment : 12pm - 10pm; shifts available
• Restaurant : Mission Ceviche Union Square
• Location : 7 E 17 th Street, New York, NY 10003

Volunteer Roles Available

• Front of House (FOH) - Checking in guests, coat check, checking out guests, tracking auction bids, processing donations, general set-up and break down, etc.
• Back of House (BOH) - Passing appetizers, serving, pouring drinks, bussing dishes, assisting kitchen staff, etc.
• A/V Lead - Lead our A/V set up and execution throughout the event. AV Company will give you an orientation on setup and equipment use.
• Media - Photography & Videography
