Sanctuary Hospice is looking for a volunteer to help in our office! This would include filing, mailing, answering phones, and various other tasks. You are also welcome to attend events we hold at facilities (such as bingo, paint and sips, and trivia) but this is not a requirement. Refreshments and a kitchen are available onsite! We are flexible with hours, but we are only open Monday through Friday from 8am- 4:30pm so the hours would have to fall within that time frame. Description
Hospice Volunteers come from all walks of life, yet they all share a common desire-to enrich their own lives and the lives of others by giving generously of their time, energy and talents. Volunteers are an integral part of our hospice team. Once trained they may work in several areas: Administrative, Direct Patient Care Visitation for companionship and support, Bereavement support, Pet therapy, Music Therapy and many other Special Alternative Complementary services.
