ORGANIZATION: Jacksonville Children's Chorus

The Jacksonville Children's Chorus' Development team is seeking a volunteer to assist with researching prospective donors for an upcoming event. This would involve coming in to our downtown office for 4-6 hours/week. You will be responsible for gathering data about potential donors' giving history, interests, and capacity.

Jacksonville Children’s Chorus provides exceptional music education for children of diverse backgrounds creating impactful choral performances.

Description

Since its inaugural season in 1995, The Chorus has grown to serve as many as 1,000 children annually, ages 18 months to 18 years. These gifted young singers represent not only 180 of our local schools, but also extend to 14 counties of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. The Chorus draws from various racial, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds, transcending differences, and emphasizing similarities and common goals.

  • -Computer proficiency -Writing and grammar proficiency and attention to detail -Experience with Excel is a plus -Experience with online research, databases, and/or fundraising tools is a plus
