Position Overview
The Fundraising & Development Fellow will assist in donor outreach, grant research, and fundraising event planning to support PEP’s mission. This role involves working with PEP’s Executive Director and fundraising team to develop strategies that increase financial support and donor engagement.
This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in nonprofit fundraising, grant writing, development, and philanthropy.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations and philanthropic organizations.
✅ Assist in writing grant proposals and reports to secure funding for PEP’s advocacy initiatives.
✅ Develop and implement donor engagement strategies to increase recurring contributions.
✅ Support fundraising campaigns by crafting appeal letters, email campaigns, and crowdfunding initiatives.
✅ Assist in planning fundraising events, virtual campaigns, and donor appreciation activities.
✅ Maintain donor databases, track fundraising metrics, and prepare impact reports.
✅ Create fundraising materials, including social media content, newsletters, and sponsorship proposals.
✅ Explore corporate sponsorship opportunities and partnerships with like-minded organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
✔ Background in nonprofit management, fundraising, communications, marketing, or a related field.
✔ Strong writing and research skills, with an interest in grant writing and donor engagement.
✔ Experience with fundraising, crowdfunding, or donor relations is a plus.
✔ Passion for peace advocacy, social justice, and economic justice.
✔ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a nonprofit setting.
✔ Experience with CRM software, donor databases, or email marketing tools is a plus.
