Every year on the 2nd Thursday in August is Pie in the Park. A community event open to all that is also the big annual fundraising event for the Village Green Foundation, the non-profit partner supporting Kingston's Village Green Community Center and Park.

Here are just some of the volunteer opportunities:

• pie bakers (we need tasting pies, raffle pies, and auction pies)
• event setup
• raffle ticket and golden ticket sales
• photography
• event cleanup
