ORGANIZATION: Enhabit Hospice

Image_202301061539

Enhabit Hospice is looking for an individual willing to help with preparing and sending bereavement letters to grieving families whose loved ones have recently passed. These letters are written by Enhabit Hospice and printed beforehand by the volunteer coordinator. The volunteer would come into the office during business hours to write addresses on envelopes, place stamps on envelopes, and match each letter with the appropriate flyer in order to be sent out. This process would take about one hour of the volunteer's time on a weekly basis. The day of the week is open to the volunteer's preference.

About Enhabit Hospice

Location:

42 Bruyer Way, Kalispell, MT 59901, US

Mission Statement

At Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, we believe hospice is not a place, but rather a philosophy of care. Our goal is to bring dignity and comfort home by offering compassionate care to patients and their families during the final stages of life.

Description

Enhabit is looking for a volunteer to provide support for patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.

A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, walking and caring for family pets, or even creating a photo album of the patient and their family.
