As a non-profit second-hand store, we depend on a variety of volunteers for day-to-day and one-time tasks. The Volunteer Coordinator reaches out to local schools, programs, universities, and businesses to find interested parties for volunteer work. They collaborate with the Store Manager to figure out what help is needed and what types of volunteers are most or least needed depending on current needs. They communicate with the Not-for-Profit Liaison to find programs with volunteers willing to help Greenovation, and to coordinate volunteer sharing among the local Non-Profit community. They will create a computerized volunteer schedule people can sign up on. They communicate as needed with the Social Media Director, our website manager, etc., to help the organization and stay connected.

Mission Statement
Rochester Greenovation helps people in Rochester, NY, keep things out of the landfill while partnering with other local non-profits. We help people in need and support local artists. Our main project is running a second-hand store.
Description
Rochester Greenovation started with an idea to help keep useful objects out of the landfill. Our Second Hand Store has become the hub of our mission where we sell anything usable. We are entirely run by volunteers and depend on donations. We partner with other local non-profits to help fill gaps in service to the people in the Rochester area. We also partner with local artists, who paint murals on the store's walls.
