As a telephone reassurance volunteer you will make scheduled phone calls to older adults to provide support, companionship, and socialization. The goal is to help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation, and to improve the well-being of the people you call.
This program provides a crucial lifeline for homebound seniors who may be at risk of loneliness, social isolation, or who might be experiencing health issues or injuries.
