Role Description:

As a Volunteer Photographer/Videographer, you will play a crucial role in capturing the excitement and camaraderie of our fishing trips. Your photographs amd videos will be used to:

• Showcase the impact of our programs on our participants.
• Promote our organization and attract new volunteers and supporters.
• Create lasting memories for participants and their families.
• Provide content for our website, social media, and newsletters.

Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality photographs of participants fishing, interacting with volunteers, and enjoying the natural surroundings.
• Document the highlights of each fishing trip, including catches, smiles, and scenic views.
• Edit and organize photographs for easy access and use.
• Provide photographs in a timely manner according to the organization's needs.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and respect the privacy of participants.
• Work collaboratively with trip leaders and other volunteers.
• Capture action shots of the fishing process, and posed shots of participants holding their catches.
• Potentially create short videos for social media.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in digital photography and photo editing.
• Access to your own camera equipment (DSLR or equivalent preferred).
• Ability to capture clear and engaging photographs in outdoor settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Passion for fishing, the outdoors, or community service (preferred).
• Experience with action photography is a plus.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
