Savannah Care Center, a faith-based nonprofit pregnancy resource center, is seeking volunteers to help us provide free baby essentials to families experiencing an unplanned pregnancy.

As a Volunteer Boutique Assistant, you will play a vital role our mission of in supporting families in need by helping to organize and sort donations of baby clothing, gear, and essentials. Your responsibilities will include stocking items on shelves, ensuring the boutique is tidy and welcoming, and assisting shoppers in finding the items they need. You can help create a positive and supportive environment for families, offering them access to quality items at no cost, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who may be facing financial challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize donated items to ensure they are clean, in good condition, and appropriate.
• Remove unsafe or unusable items from donation inventory.
• Stock shelves, racks, and display tables to maintain a neat and attractive environment.
• Assist clients in finding items they need, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain knowledge of boutique inventory to answer client questions and help with product availability.
• Document the points spent and items purchased by the client in their electronic chart.
• Monitor the boutique for cleanliness, safety, and organization, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Assist with special events, promotions, or seasonal displays as needed.

Requirements:

• Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
• Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity.
• Agree with and be willing to uphold the Commitment of Care and Competence, Core Values, Statement of Faith, and policies of the center.
• Commitment to strict confidentiality of client information.
• Ability to interact courteously and effectively with clients, staff, and other volunteers, providing excellent customer service.
• Attention to detail to ensure that donations are properly sorted, items are neatly displayed, and inventory is accurately maintained.
• Be dependable and committed to the pregnancy center ministry.
• Foster a welcoming, supportive, and Christ-centered atmosphere for all clients and visitors.
