She's Going Places is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering young girls and women in underserved communities through professional and personal development, mentorship, and hygiene kits. We are looking for a Volunteer Marketing Strategy Manager to develop and execute a results-driven marketing plan that increases awareness, engagement, and support for our mission.

Role Overview

The Volunteer Marketing Strategy Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing initiatives that increase visibility, drive engagement, and attract donors, volunteers, and community partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with experience in digital marketing, content planning, campaign execution, and audience growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy Development
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Identify key target audiences and create marketing strategies to engage them.
  • Develop messaging and branding strategies to improve awareness and donor engagement.
Social Media and Digital Marketing
  • Lead marketing efforts across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Plan and execute content calendars to maintain consistency in social media presence.
  • Implement strategies to grow social media following and increase engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze social media insights to refine content strategies.
Campaign Execution and Fundraising Support
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns for fundraising initiatives, volunteer recruitment, and program outreach.
  • Coordinate with the branding team to ensure campaign messaging is cohesive across all platforms.
  • Support email marketing initiatives, including donor newsletters and impact reports.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop creative storytelling campaigns that highlight impact and success stories.
Analytics and Performance Tracking
  • Track key marketing performance metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates, and campaign conversion rates.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for improving marketing strategies.
  • Optimize marketing campaigns based on audience response and engagement data.
Website Management and SEO Optimization
  • Maintain and update the organization’s website with relevant content and upcoming initiatives.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search rankings.
  • Ensure website content aligns with the nonprofit’s brand messaging and marketing objectives.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, or nonprofit marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of social media growth strategies, content marketing, and campaign execution.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or Hootsuite.
  • Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, and website content management.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a mission-driven team.
  • Passion for women’s empowerment and community development.
