ORGANIZATION: HEATING ENERGY ASSISTANCE TEAM INC

Key Responsibilities:

· Answer income calls from individuals seeking energy assistance.

· Return calls from people seeking energy assistance.

· Track the incoming calls from people seeking energy assistance.

· Conduct initial screenings and assessments to determine client eligibility for energy assistance programs.

· Assist clients in completing intake forms and gather necessary documentation.

· Provide clear and accurate information about available energy assistance programs and services.

· Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.

· Coordinate with other team members and community partners to ensure clients receive comprehensive support.

· Follow up with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide additional support as necessary.

· Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on program changes and best practices.

· Other duties as assigned.

Heating Energy Assistance Team (HEAT), Inc. provides essential energy assistance to individuals and families in need. Our mission is to prevent human suffering by helping low-income Georgians with their home heating bill. We seek to ensure that no one goes without the energy they need to live safe and healthy lives. HEAT has served over one hundred thousand families. Since 1983 when the program started, we have distributed more than 27 million dollars to help Georgians with energy assistance.
