Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Membership Recruiter & Online Content Manager. This volunteer role is ideal for someone with a flair for digital communication, a talent for building connections, and an interest in growing a vibrant online community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Membership Recruitment:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and onboard new members.
- Build relationships with potential members through outreach efforts (email, social media, etc.).
- Maintain and grow a database of current and prospective members.
- Content Management:
- Create, edit, and schedule engaging posts for our website and social media platforms.
- Ensure website content remains up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with CIRIS's mission.
- Collaborate with team members to highlight key initiatives and events.
- Community Engagement:
- Respond to inquiries from website visitors and social media followers.
- Foster a sense of belonging among members by sharing updates and encouraging participation.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in website management platforms (e.g., WordPress) and social media tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Passion for international relations, human rights, and community building.
- Previous experience in recruitment, marketing, or digital communication is a plus but not required.
