Recruiting Organization: Urban Servant Corps

USC is a one-year, full-time service program located in the heart of Denver, CO. Volunteers commit to living in intentional community, while serving at various local nonprofit organizations, accompanying some of Denver's most marginalized and vulnerable communities. USCers fill essential roles at nonprofit partner agencies that provide immediate and direct service to guests.

One of the available placement sites for the upcoming year of service is with SAME (So All May Eat) Cafe serving as a Kitchen & Front of House Member and Volunteer Coordinator. SAME operates with a participation model where guests volunteer time, donate money or give produce in exchange for a healthy, locally sourced, made from scratch meal.

Food, housing, health insurance, a modest monthly stipend and personal growth funds are offered. Additionally, USC offers $1,000.00 at the end of service and $2,000-$7,000.00 towards outstanding student loan debt.
