Program Overview

Want to serve your community while growing personally and professionally? Join College Now’s AmeriCorps Ohio College & Career Guides Program! Our program is offered in partnership with the Ohio Commission on Service and Volunteerism (ServeOhio). AmeriCorps enables individuals to serve their community while earning a living allowance and an education award.

The goal of our program is to ensure that all Ohioans receive the information needed to prepare, access, and complete a postsecondary credential. AmeriCorps members provide workshops and advising on college and career exploration to 6th through 12th graders; provide support to 11th and 12th graders on postsecondary access and scholarship applications; and facilitate successful postsecondary transitions, persistence, and college affordability coaching with high school graduates.
