Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Lead Assistant to support our Program Manager for our FoundHER Program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social work and community engagement, with experience in managing programs and youth. Working closely with the Education Curriculum Lead, this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
Volunteer requirements are 10 hours/Week
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of the FoundHER program and events, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively.
- Assist with teen recruitment fostering a positive environment for engagement.
- Support EmpowHERto efforts by coordinating outreach activities and engaging with potential candidates.
- Develop content for social media platforms to promote FoundHER and increase community awareness.
- Conduct public speaking engagements to represent the organization at various events and forums.
- Collaborate with team members to manage projects effectively, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintain organized records of program activities, volunteer hours, and participant feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience in program management or related fields, preferably within a social work or nonprofit environment.
- Excellent public speaking abilities with a knack for engaging diverse audiences.
- Experience in campus recruitment or similar outreach efforts is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to fostering positive relationships within the community.
