We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Manager to join our team and help us expand our online presence while promoting our cause to a broader audience. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student with a strong interest in social media, marketing, and digital content creation to gain hands-on experience in a non-profit setting.

Job Description:

As a Social Media Manager, you will work closely with our advisory board & ministry leaders to create, schedule, and manage content across our social media platforms. You will play a key role in increasing engagement, building awareness about our initiatives, and telling the story of our organization through creative and compelling digital content.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Content Creation: Develop and design engaging content (graphics, videos, blog posts, stories) that aligns with the organization’s mission and voice.
    • Social Media Management: Manage our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring messages/comments.
    • Campaign Promoting: Assist in the creation and execution of social media campaigns to
    • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content is consistent with our branding, tone, and messaging across all platforms.
    • Collaborative Content Development: Work closely with ministry leaders to develop content that promotes key initiatives, events, or educational programs.

Ideal Candidate:

    • Current College Student: Preferred background in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or related field.
    • Creative: Passion for digital content creation, with an eye for design, storytelling, and innovative marketing strategies.
    • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different platforms.
    • Social Media Savvy: Proficient in using popular social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and basic design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), or other graphic design software.
    • Passion for Social Impact: A genuine interest in contributing to a cause and helping raise awareness for a non-profit organization.
    • Self-Starter: Motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
