Recruiting Organization: Six Beats Of Separation™
Company Description:
Six Beats Of Separation, the charity you can dance to is an innovative charity organization that unites music, celebrity, and philanthropy. We are in our preproduction phase, raising our seed round, as we do NOT run on public contributions like traditional nonprofit organizations.
Once launched, we will create fan-driven, celebrity-fueled media content that generates a minimum of 6m in revenue per celebrity guest, for a diverse portfolio of charitable causes.
Our unique approach involves celebrities sharing their favorite songs for their favorite charities, demonstrating the transformative power of sharing and imparting generational impact.
Role Description:
As Vice President of the Board of Directors at Six Beats Of Separation, you will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's future. This volunteer position requires a visionary leader who can:
- Spearhead fundraising initiatives, particularly through corporate sponsorships
- Oversee board governance and effectiveness
- Collaborate with the executive team to ensure mission alignment
- Leverage high-level networking to expand our celebrity partnerships and global reach
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in building and scaling organizations with global impact
- Extensive experience in fundraising, particularly in securing corporate sponsorships
- Strong background in media, entertainment, or related industries
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high-performing boards
- Exceptional networking skills with connections to potential sponsors and donors
- Strategic thinking and business acumen, preferably with experience in brand partnerships, and business development.
- Passion for innovative philanthropic models and the power of music to drive social change
- Advanced degree in Business Administration or related fields preferred
The Ideal Candidate:
- We're seeking a dynamic leader who embodies an epic work ethic and an almost unbearable can-do attitude and who shares our belief that one moment of sharing can perpetually change the world!
- Fear = "what if" Faith = "EVEN if!" should be the mindset.
- You should be an expert at finding time for what matters.
- Hustle as hard as the world-class celebrity teams and NPOs we partner with or hustle elsewhere.
Time Commitment:
- Be available to check in on Slack and contribute a few minutes daily.
- Board meetings will be held quarterly.
- Less than 0.02% of the more than 1.6m nonprofits launched since 1970 hit 100m a year in revenue. Our model puts us at 72m in product created in year one alone. This type of impact warrants your time and sacrifice. Know this or please move on. We have lives to save and inspire.
Impact:
While this is an unpaid position, the potential for impact is tremendous.
The work you do in year one of your time with us will continue to generate revenue and awareness 20 years from now. You'll be at the forefront of a revolutionary approach to charitable giving, working with celebrities and major corporations to create perpetual positive change on a global scale.
