Recruiting Organization: Empowherto Inc

As the Engagement Specialist, you'll play a key role in creating an inclusive and supportive environment for our girl members. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain teen members, organize events and activities, and provide support and guidance to help them succeed.

Volunteer requirements are 10 hours/Week

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the coordination of programs and activities.
  • Collect, track and report on program statistics and information
  • Create and maintain program records, reports, presentations and proposals .
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain teenage members.
  • Organize events, workshops, and activities tailored to the needs and interests of teen members.
  • Provide support and guidance to teen members, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with the program team to develop engaging content and resources for teen members.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model for teen members, inspiring them to reach their full potential.
  • Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote EmpowHERto and attract new teen members.
  • Maintain accurate records of teen membership and participation in programs and activities.
  • Collect feedback from teen members and use it to continuously improve our offerings.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, business, program management). ● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for empowering young minority women and girls.
