Volunteers provide routine daily care for injured, sick, and orphaned native wildlife until they are ready for release back into the wild. Volunteer duties include preparation of diets, cleaning cages, admitting patients, feeding animals, answering phones, record keeping, and similar activities related to animal care. In addition, volunteers may participate in special projects, training, and cage building, as well as participating in animal releases.
