Recruiting Organization: Colorado State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program
Help change the world by making a world of difference for a resident of long-term care.
The Colorado State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program (LTCOP) needs volunteers to help the residents of Sedgwick County Nursing Home and Assisted Living Residence in Julesburg, CO.
"Ombudsman" (AHM-budz-muhn) is a Swedish word that means "advocate." Our LTCOP volunteers are members of a kind, supportive and knowledgeable team who protect residents’ rights and help to resolve residents’ concerns.
If you are compassionate, professional and eager to learn, join us! Must be comfortable working with residents and staff of long-term care facilities. Free training and certification is provided.
For more information, contact Jesse Bond, State LTCOP Volunteer Coordinator at (720) 925-8609 or jesse.bond@state.co.us. Or visit our website at COombudsman.org/join
