About Adinkra Fellowship

The "Adinkra Alliance Institute", a newly established 501(c)(3), is committed to uplifting Black communities and minority groups while advancing initiatives in development, environmental justice, and equity across the United States and globally. Building on the demonstrated achievements of our co-founders--who bring a history of impactful leadership and social innovation--we are launching the Adinkra Fellowship.

The "Adinkra Fellowship" is a unique initiative dedicated to promoting outstanding rising leaders from Africa and the diaspora, spanning a diverse range of sectors. It aims to strengthen ties between Africa and its Diaspora by identifying and supporting 20 to 40 laureates (half from Africa and half from the diaspora) through an immersive leadership and networking program organized in two countries. The inaugural edition will take place in February 2026.

Role Overview

As a Founding Partner, you will be a true co-founder of the Adinkra Fellowship, instrumental in shaping its vision and impact in the United States. This is not a salaried position upfront--our organization is in its early stages, and immediate financial resources are limited. Instead, your compensation will be tied to the future proceeds of the Fellowship, reflecting your investment in its success. This role demands senior-level expertise in program design, strategic planning, and partnership-building, paired with a genuine commitment to act as a co-founder alongside our team.

We’re a new organization, but our co-founders have a proven track record of achievement. Together, we invite you to co-create a legacy of social impact that bridges Africa and its diaspora--an opportunity for a mission-driven leader eager to build something enduring.
