Recruiting Organization: Project Libertad
DESCRIPTION:
Project Libertad seeks volunteers to serve as facilitators for immigrant student after-school support groups in the Conestoga Area School to help provide a weekly safe space to newcomer immigrant students in middle & high school. All lesson plans and materials will be provided. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus but not required!
- REQUIRED: Background Checks (PATCH, Child Abuse, FBI), Mandated Reporter Certification, & Proof of COVID-29 Vaccination**
TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 1.5 hour per week

Project Libertad is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers newcomer immigrant youth and their families by providing essential, youth-led, and youth-centered legal and social services.
We envision a world where all newcomer immigrant youth have access to the legal services, social services, academic support, and leadership opportunities needed to thrive.
