Through self-empowerment workshops and career-based mentorships, we collectively strive to build confident, emotionally intelligent and resourceful adults for the future generation.

This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and contribute to making a significant impact on younger individuals’ lives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead by delegating projects and tasks to all Marketing Team volunteers and oversee the completion of those tasks to completion
  • Lead the Marketing Committee by establishing organizational marketing, branding, and communication plans and initiatives
  • Provide support to the Marketing Lead and oversee the implementation of Marketing and Communications strategies; also present updates to the Executive Team
  • Help strategize, plan and execute marketing campaigns which include social media, advertising, email, video marketing, and brand awareness
  • Lead the development of the Marketing Team and measure the effectiveness of the organization’s marketing plans, providing guidance wherever it is needed
  • Onboard new marketing volunteers and assign them to appropriate subcommittees
  • Attend bi-weekly Marketing Team meetings

Qualifications:

  • Experience with SEO, social media, content creation, and data analysis metrics
  • Previous experience with creation of marketing and communications strategy and execution
  • A post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or other related field is a plus (but not required)
  • The ability to manage a multidisciplinary team
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Comfort with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and proofreading skills

This is a part-time and unpaid volunteer position requiring a commitment of 8-12 hours per week and attendance at bi-weekly marketing meetings
