Recruiting Organization: Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc.

Volunteers are the heart of BARCS. Without their time, talents and resources, we would not be able to save the lives of over 10,000 animals each year. Whether you have a free day on the weekend or an occasional hour after work, there is a place for you at BARCS.

We always need help from our Paw-parazzi team. Some projects that our Paw-parazzi volunteers work on include (but are not limited to!) taking photos and video of adoptable animals, events, helping prepare promotional photos and videos (such as helping create videos of volunteer tasks to share on social media) and many more projects! With an average of 30 new animals arriving at BARCS each day, we have constant needs to share the pictures of newly arrived furry friends both to try to help reunite lost pets with their families and to help adoptable animals find their fur-ever homes!
