Volunteers' camp in Uganda.

Recruiting Organization: Tasaaga Primary School

TAASAAGA Primary School a Ugandan non-profit school that supports and educates orphans and other vulnerable children has organized a two weeks volunteers' camp in Uganda at the school starting from 6th August to 22nd August 2025. During this time participants will be in engaged in a number of activities that will contribute to the well being of the children supported and educated at TASAAGA Primary School.

Activities will include:-

  1. Working with our local clinic officer at the school's clinic
  2. Participating in public health outreaches to educate families about family planning/birth control, malaria prevention, food and nutrition, prevention of sexually transmitted infections including HIV/AIDS, dental care and hygiene, community hygiene and sanitation.
  3. Reading storybooks to our under 10 years children living at the school dormitories.
  4. Teaching photography and videography to our above 12 years students who belong to the school's photography club.
  5. Sharing your games and sports skills with our children (Any).
  6. If you are a musician you will also have the share your skills with our children like playing an instrument, singing and dancing.
  7. Painting classroom walls of the school inside and outside.
  8. Planting trees for environment protection (We intend to plant over 100 trees during the camp period.

To participate you don't need to have a degree or certificates. As long as you have a skill to share with our children. However, to help in the clinic you must be either a medical student and a medical person.

From 6th to 9th participants will be arriving to Uganda and they will be picked up from the airport by our staff and driver to the camping ground. From 10th to 22nd of August activities will be running. We shall be having intervals for all participants to go for wildlife Safari and for seeing the country. At the end of the camp all participants will be driven back to the airport for their departure.
