Recruiting Organization: Future Tech Leaders
At Future Tech Leaders we are dedicated to inspiring and teaching children--especially those from underrepresented communities--vital tech skills to help shape the future. We believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to help us raise the resources we need to expand our programs and reach even more kids.
As a Fundraising Support Volunteer, you will play a key role in helping us secure the funding and partnerships that fuel our mission. Whether you have previous fundraising experience or are simply eager to contribute your skills and ideas to a worthy cause, we welcome your enthusiasm!
Key Responsibilities:
- Research potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities to support our programs.
- Assist in crafting compelling grant proposals and sponsorship materials.
- Build and nurture relationships with local businesses, foundations, and other partners.
- Support fundraising events and campaigns, both virtual and in-person, by helping with outreach and promotion.
- Work with the team to develop creative strategies to engage new supporters and donors.
Experience and Skills Needed:
- Previous experience in fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit work is a plus, but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop clear, persuasive messaging for potential donors and sponsors.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Comfortable working remotely and independently while maintaining communication with the team.
- A passion for supporting diversity and inclusion in the tech space and a desire to help make tech education accessible to all children.
- Detailed oriented and excellent research skills
