About the Residency
Fundación ArteSumapaz is an arts and culture center located in the serene countryside of San Bernardo, Cundinamarca. We host residencies for international, national, and emerging visual artists, musicians, writers, and creatives of all kinds. Our mission extends beyond the arts to include projects in organic agriculture, reforestation, and community building.
The residency program is self-directed, offering artists access to various studio spaces--including visual art, music, movement, writing, and more--across our expansive 230-acre campus. Artists are encouraged to experiment and collaborate, fostering a vibrant community of creatives and environmentalists who inspire one another.

- Addressing health and safety concerns and ensuring standards are upheld.
- Contributing to long-term planning for residency and volunteer programs, with a focus on sustainability in composting, recycling, and gardening systems.
