Recruiting Organization: The Beginning

• Design and distribute monthly or bi-weekly newsletters to inform supporters about our programs, events, and achievements.
• Collaborate with partners, and volunteers to gather content such as success stories, volunteer spotlights, and calls to action.
• Proofread and format newsletters to align with the organization’s voice and branding.

• Manage the organization’s social media accounts.
• Create engaging posts highlighting the nonprofit’s impact, events, and opportunities for involvement.
• Develop campaigns to promote fundraising, volunteer recruitment, or awareness initiatives.
• Adjust strategies based on data insights to maximize reach and engagement.
• Stay informed on communication trends and best practices.

• Work closely with staff and other volunteers to ensure messaging aligns with the organization’s goals.
• Support event promotion through coordinated email and social media campaigns.
• Brainstorm creative ideas for storytelling and audience engagement.

Qualifications:

• Passion for the organization’s mission and values.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with social media platforms and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
• Willingness to learn new software/communications tools
• Ability to create visually appealing content Organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.

Time Commitment:

• Approximately 5-10 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
• Availability for periodic team meetings or event promotions as needed.
