Love biking and working with kids? Join Saddle Up Summer Bike Camp as a volunteer and help young riders gain confidence, skills, and a love for cycling!
About the Camp
Campers ride to parks, pools, and local programs while learning bike safety, group riding, and independence. This is not a racing or off-road camp-just fun, safe community rides.
Who We’re Looking For
✅ Retired teachers, mentors, or cycling enthusiasts
✅ Confident group riders with a positive attitude
✅ Volunteers who can commit to at least one full camp week (Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
What You’ll Do
- Ride alongside campers, providing guidance and encouragement
- Help lead bike safety and skill-building activities
- Support daily excursions to parks, libraries, and pools

Mission Statement
The mission of the WashCo BTC is to promote bicycle transportation, protect bicyclists’ rights and improve bicycling conditions throughout Washington County, Oregon through education, advocacy and community.
Description
The WashCo BTC supports all bicyclists in Washington County Oregon with a strong emphasis on education.
Education for adults as well as children. The signature event, The Tour de Parks, was designed to co-mingle cyclists with motorists.
The WashCo BTC operates a community bicycle center in downtown Hillsboro. Volunteers and members can use this facility to wrench for their personal use or for the better of the BTC.
