Responsibilities:

  1. Article Creation: Research and write articles that provide clear and comprehensive guidance on seeking legal, police, medical, psychosocial assistance, etc. for survivors of violence in the Indian context.
  2. Psychological Responses: Develop articles that explain the psychological responses survivors may experience and how to cope with them.
  3. Trauma Understanding: Create content that explores trauma and its various facets, emphasizing resilience and recovery.
  4. Normalization of Survivor Experiences: Write articles that normalize survivor experiences while acknowledging individual differences in coping and healing.
  5. Rights and Laws: Develop articles that explain the laws and rights relevant to reparations for gender based violent abuses.
  6. Bystander Intervention: Craft articles on the importance of bystander intervention, offering practical advice on how individuals can support survivors.
  7. Research and Citations: Conduct primary or secondary research to ensure articles are evidence-based and cite sources in APA style.
  8. Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit articles to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to APA writing style.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Fluency in English: Proficient in written and spoken English to create informative and engaging content.
  2. Research Skills: Strong ability to conduct primary and secondary research to gather relevant information and statistics.
  3. APA Writing: Proficiency in APA (American Psychological Association) writing style for accurate citations and references.
  4. Empathy and Sensitivity: Demonstrated empathy and sensitivity toward the experiences and needs of survivors.
  5. Communication: Excellent written communication skills to convey complex information clearly and accessibly.
  6. Organizational Skills: Well-organized with attention to detail, especially in referencing and citation.
  7. Educational Background: While formal educational qualifications are valued, applicants with relevant experience or a passion for survivor support are encouraged to apply.

If you submit a total of five articles and complete the final edits for each, you will receive:
