Do you want to make a lasting impact in cultural education and advocacy through storytelling and media in your local community? Join us on our mission! One World for Love and Peace (OW4LP) is seeking a visionary, mission-driven CEO to revive and lead the organization into its next chapter.

This is a volunteer leadership role with the opportunity to build funding sources that can sustain both the organization and future compensation. The CEO will be responsible for revitalizing programs, securing funding, expanding partnerships, and recruiting a board of directors to grow OW4LP’s impact.

Who We Are

One World for Love and Peace (OW4LP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing cultural understanding of Arab communities in the greater Sacramento area through media, partnerships, public relations, and outreach.

Established in 2004 in Monrovia, CA, and re-established in Sacramento in 2008, OW4LP leverages media as a tool for education, advocacy, and connection, creating platforms that amplify Arab-American voices, challenge stereotypes, combat misinformation, and foster mutual understanding.

Through storytelling, media advocacy, and strategic partnerships, we work to build bridges across cultures, promote peace, love, and unity, and ensure that Arab-American narratives are heard and valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relaunch and expand media-driven cultural advocacy programs.
  • Secure funding through grants, sponsorships, and donor engagement.
  • Recruit and lead a board of directors and volunteers.
  • Strengthen community partnerships and outreach efforts.
  • Grow storytelling platforms that amplify underrepresented voices.

Qualifications

  • Passion for cultural education, media, and community advocacy.
  • Experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, or community organizing preferred.
  • Strong networking and communication skills (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
